We rented a Kalkhof electric mountain bike with a stated range of 150 km for three days from April 11 to 13, 2025, for €116.
The contact with Thierry, who handled the delivery, was very friendly.
He gave us lots of advice on the hikes not to be missed starting from Cancale.
Everything would have been perfect if the bike had been exactly as booked on the website.
In fact, the bike delivered was already well-used (over 2,000 km on the odometer) and had a maximum range of 40 km in "economical" use... So our excursions were very limited.
This type of bike is offered for €75 for three days on the CANCAVELO website.
We regret that Thierry did not offer us a refund for the difference; this is a form of dishonesty.
