He recommended the Altra Superior 6, a shoe with almost no drop, very comfortable for my fairly strong foot, even though it's quite minimalist. The key: gradualness. So, I run a little every day, stopping for a few seconds as soon as I feel any tension, then get back into running mode. For the past two weeks, I've been able to do one-hour runs with some elevation gain (once a week) and 25 minutes on other days, whereas a month ago I was barely running 20 meters with pain everywhere. I listen to my body; if I have muscle aches, I reduce the load.
