This guided e-bike experience takes place in the open landscape surrounding Matera, following trails along a deep natural stone canyon that surrounds the city. Riding at a relaxed pace, the tour reaches panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Sassi from above, offering wide, unobstructed views of Matera and its dramatic setting carved into rock. The route alternates dirt paths and countryside tracks, far from traffic and crowds. Several stops are planned at key viewpoints to observe the canyon landscape and understand how Matera developed along its rocky edges. This is not a city bike tour. It is a panoramic ride designed for travelers who want space, perspective, and iconic views, guided by a local professional.

Premium e-bikes in the beautiful Puglia countryside. A wonderful day out on high-quality e-bikes, complete with comfortable saddles. We had to tighten a pedal (these things happen) and were helped by an agritourism farm along the way. Puglia offers trails winding through olive groves and past the stone trulli so typical of the region. Route guidance via the Komoot app. Note: send a message the day before to confirm the hire details and pick-up point.

It’s a brilliant trip that we’d highly recommend. An excellent route through the countryside to the charming little towns of the Itria Valley and then down to the coast. Excellent e-bikes… Way too fast!!!! We loved it… what a joy to have that independence and freedom!!

The bikes are good quality and the region is ideal for e-bike riding. The equipment provided is very well suited (panniers, various accessories), and the delivery arrangements were perfect. We hired the bikes for a 6-day tour and would have preferred a bike more suited to off-road cycle touring rather than one designed primarily for city use. We’re used to using our own bikes, which offer a moderate level of electric assistance to help us manage our effort better depending on the route. Here, the level of assistance lacked that fine balance.

A lovely ride of about 60 km from Acquavia to Altamura. Gian sends us the route via an app; you need to install the Koomot app and then you’ll be guided smoothly all the way along the route. Make sure your phone is fully charged so you can be guided right to the end. One small thing to improve: there was a stretch of about 10 km on a busy road with lots of traffic, and make sure to plan the return journey carefully with Gian, as we ended up waiting an hour for him to arrive. Otherwise, overall, a really lovely ride. I’d recommend it.
