First time "touristing" in this place and already feeling like home, as were the heart is. Tremendously magical villages that takes you far back in time along long Ocean paths leading you further into the Island of "White Port". With charming countryside houses, plants and also birds shivering lifefully in the forest, makes you want to stop by for a moment and truly FEEL all there is. An Island with an energy so splendidly tender and wild at the same time, leaving you refreshed and detoxed when leaving.. A place that shares lots of history.

The Capitainerie is in the port of Île aux moines and has all kinds of stuff you need from water, hats, clothing and other souvenirs from this beautiful peaceful island. This place is great. I have always bought something to remember the area but never from here. Don’t do my mistake. I bought a hat and will definitely get a vest next time.

Before entering in the port there are many parking sites. The price is ok and the places are well made with marks. Once you enter in the port you can find places for eating and drinking as well as the ticket office for the available trips. I bought tickets for the island Île-aux-Moines.
