Thank you to the team for your assistance since August. I received the wheel equipped with its Montana electric motor at home, and everything was assembled by another professional.
Now I can finally ride my electric bike again.

I arrived right when they opened for my bike service, thinking I'd be seen quickly. Repairs are done without an appointment, though. Three bikes from the day before were waiting. There was only one employee in the shop to do the repairs and serve customers. Finally, the employee offered me an appointment for the end of the week. What a waste of time.

Rear brake replacement. A few hundred meters later, the wheel axle came loose while riding, and the rear wheel flew off. A serious fall was narrowly avoided. When I contacted Mondovélo, they told me it couldn't have been them who forgot to tighten something, that these things happen... In 55 years, I've never had this problem, nor have I ever heard of a wheel axle coming loose for no reason, except for a botched repair. Mondovélo said they were sorry for me but refused to admit any responsibility.
In short, a shop to avoid like the plague. Depending on who's working on your bike, it might be good, according to other reviews. If it's the same negligent person doing it, the work will be shoddy, even dangerous, and Mondovélo will be unwaveringly dishonest. "It wasn't us."
