We rented e-bikes for 3 days while visiting Vaison La Romaine. The rental process was quick and easy and the bikes were great. They offer an app to download with some pre-programmed rides. Sites, wineries and points of interest are highlighted on the route map. I would highly recommend Sun E-bikes if you’re looking for a fun way to explore the area.

We rented road and E-bikes for a tour of Vaison. We could not have been more pleased with the customer service and quality of the bikes. We downloaded an app to guide our way which worked perfectly.

We rented two VTT/mountain bike ebikes. Really fun ride in the trails of the Dentelles de Montmirail, but the service was absolutely five stars: we got lots of help, clear communication, and friendly. Plus, in English!

Their grey no-brandname ebikes are rubbish: the old-fashioned front wheel pull engine underperformed badly. The day before we had also rented a Gazelle ebike and a gravel ebike for a full day from Sun-e-bike: those were much better (with Bosch engines). Those are also their most expensive bikes... The Gazelles were like new and drove pleasantly. The gravel ebike on the contrary already had quite a lot of miles on it and many scuffs to the paintwork. The disc brakes of that bike were not very well maintained, with loud squealing brake noises on the descents, lacking adequate stopping power. Batteries and tires on all bikes were in good condition. Paperwork was fast and easy. Friendly service as well. 2 EUR extra for damage/theft insurance. Their branch in Châteauneuf-du-Pape is closed. You can get their bikes now at camping L'art de Vivre on reservation, but only the old grey front-wheel drive ebikes are available there, so I wouldn't bother.
