The cottage was OK, but the double bedroom lacks space as it's difficult to get around the bed. We had asked at the time of booking if there was parking outside the cottage as I had mobility issues we were told yes. . The parking was on the side of the road, so it was impassable when the cottage opposite was occupied. I spoke to reception as there was a parking space to the side of our cottage that was not occupied and asked if we could park there. We were told that we could not as there were going to be occupants in there the following day. No one came, so I spoke to reception again as if if there had been an emergency, the fire service or ambulance would not be able to pass. I was told by another receptionist that I could park in the space to the side of the cottage that I originally asked for. We had a problem with the toilet blocking, but they dealt with this promptly, and someone came within 10 minutes to unblock it. The facilities are good on the site but the shop is only open in the mornings which is a bit of a pain as the nearest shops were a good 10 - 15 minutes away by car. The location of the site is a bit out of the way, and you would need a car to get to the local shopping and tourist areas etc although if you want the beach there is access from the site to the beach which is about 100 metres. On the whole, it is value for money, but it would be good if the on-site shop was open in the afternoon for those items you may need.

Great place for a beach holiday only about 500m from beach to camp site along tracks through the undergrowth of gorse. Mosquitoes are a problem the nearer you are to the gorse, I had 63 bites on first night and even using spray from pharmacist nothing much changed until we moved away from first row. Great bar area by the pool with limited menu. Friendly helpful staff throuought and a special mention and big thanks to Clemence who could not do enough to make our stay really enjoyable..nothing was too much trouble..we had a flat tyre and she agreed that we could have tyre delivered to reception and told us where we could have them fitted locally..she did loads of things for us ..too many to mention all..just a really helpful person. At the end of the road is a marina with some great restaurants and as dogs are not allowed on the beach there is a dog friendly area next to marina. Bus routes into Valres Plage and beyond is about a 2 mile walk to and back from Le Yole for 1 euro each way. Bus route outside camp doesn't start till end June. Moan time.. is that there are no signs at the toilets where the chemical toilet emptying point is and I saw people emptying cassett in out door shower area. It is really noisy the closer you are too the pool/bar area that goes on till midnight...really bad during weekends especially ascension day.

Lovely adults only pool but I’m sorry to say the worst Sandaya site I’ve stayed on. The caravans are so close to each other you are holidaying with many people! Our 4 star was lovely but we looked straight out onto 7 deckings in a row and we had a 3 cottage with friends who were holidaying together right in front of us. So they had 30 people partying day and night. 👍 thank you to ? Tatya at reception who allowed us to move caravans but we did have to down grade our caravan. It was worth the peace. The site is also full of mosquitoes and you are eaten day, night and by the pool.
