Super easy to rent, pick up and return our two rented “trekking” bikes, which worked very well for the ten days of our bike tour in the lovely Loire valley. The bikes were good-quality Giant brand and handled every kind of road surface, from pavement to gravel to cobblestones, with no problem. Solid racks handled our bike paniers easily.

I must highlight the outstanding service provided by the people in this shop. They went out of their way to help us out and were super flexible and understanding. The bikes were in good condition. Highly recommend!

We rented two e-bikes for four days travelling from Orleans to Tours. The transfer of the bikes at both ends of the trip was smooth and professional. The bikes were high end and provided excellent service and comfort. I heartily recommend detours de Loire for bike rentals.

Great experience cycle touring with this company. Everything from booking our tour to pickup of bikes in Blois to drop off in Tours was seamless. The response times were excellent, the equipment was very good quality, the staff very welcoming and the accommodations organised for us were wonderful. We wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again.
