Very disappointed, I went there for a quick fix because I was foolish enough to go to work on a bike with no brakes and only realized it too late.
Over the phone, the person told me they only work by appointment but to come anyway; if it was just a small adjustment, they might be able to do it.
When I arrived, I was greeted warmly. Someone looked at it and told me that several parts needed to be taken apart and that it would take some time. They offered me an appointment two weeks later.
So far, so good; I understand their workload.
I left with my bike.
However, I then contacted another repairman who took a look and fixed it so I could get home in two minutes, which allowed me to get home safely while waiting for an appointment for a full service.
So, gentlemen, I understand and respect that you're overwhelmed with work. But don't make me come here to refuse to fix something that could have been fixed quickly and for which, of course, I paid.
