Would like to recommend Station Bees for bike hire when you’re in the area. We rented two electric bikes for a week during a recent stay near Cancon. The bikes were first rate, new and well maintained. Hire included helmets and cycle locks plus bags. Booking was easy and communication with Frederique and Franck, the owners, first class. They can deliver bikes to your property from their bases in Villereal and Monpazier and their local knowledge, route suggestions and support is helpful. We zipped up hills that would have left us panting and the trip to the nearest Carrefour made much easier with Panniers supplied.
Thanks so much for helping make our holiday so enjoyable.

This is a great all-round bike shop! I'm a road cyclist and needed a specialist adjuster for my road bike, Frank (the owner) was so very helpful. Although it was not a regular part he had new on the shelf, he searched through a couple of boxes of used bike parts until he found one and just gave it to me free! I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for bike repair, and especially for electric bike rental or repair.

Great service from Bees! Seriously, this is a 'must do' if you're in the region. Firstly, all bikes hired are electric, which means you get that little extra boost on the rolling hills. Secondly – and most importantly – the own has mapped out dozens of back road routes all stored on Garmin GPS devices. This is what makes Bees so good! No CARS!
Here's what I did. If you start at Bees at around 10:30 you can have a lovely, easy going ride with through the beautiful French countryside and be in Monpazier by Noon for lunch stopping on the way to pick wild blackberries. In MonPaz I stopped for a drink, got a sandwich from the bakery and then did the second leg to Chateaux Biron to eat my lunch which was great. Then the final push back to Vilreal and back at base by about 3pm.
All the time the GPs tells you where to go, so you just have to turn the legs and enjoy the view.
Also, they have an electric bike with a wheelchair attached to the front which would be great for anyone who can't ride but wants to enjoy the experience.
All this, for 38Euro! Great fun and great service. Franck (I think) the owner and his wife both speak English if you're not skilled in French cycling words.
Would recommend 100%

Franck is a friendly and cheerful manager who can fix any issues with your bike (electric or not) and advise you on the best e-bike to rent for exploring the Lot-et-Garonne region!
The shop also has a cargo bike for, for example, someone who can't pedal but wants to enjoy a bike ride with family or friends 😁
