S-WORKS TARMAC SL6 - Size M/L (1.78/1.90) - The Tarmac SL 6 Disc was designed to be not just fast, but fast everywhere. Long climbs, windy flats, Grand Tour stages, and local cyclosportives: a racing bike that excels on all these terrains. The Rider-First Engineered™ frame design ensures perfectly adapted handling regardless of size. It has numerous aerodynamic improvements that make it faster. It's 20% lighter than the SL5. The result: it's the lightest, fastest, and most maneuverable.
Shimano Dura-Ace 9170 Di2 Disc groupset, S-works Power Cranks, Roval CLX 50 Disc wheels, and S-Works cockpit.
The Tarmac was built using software from the aerospace industry that revolutionizes the structure and layup sequence of the new FACT 12r carbon.
Rider-First Engineered™ consists of 500 parts that create seven frame sizes, all offering the same compliance and stiffness characteristics.
Aerodynamics are the main factor making it faster. The Tarmac benefits from new aerodynamic features that have no impact on its weight. Research identified three areas for improvement: a new fork shape, aerodynamically shaped lowered seatstays, and a D-shaped seatpost and seat tube assembly.
The new performance road geometry is based on countless Retül data points and feedback from professional riders. This led to the development of a high-performance road geometry combining a responsive front end and a short wheelbase, to provide instant response and ideal power transfer. To optimize comfort, the seat post incorporates flexibility in the upper 120 mm (where there is no clamping).
