I recommend taking the time to go 15 mins to one of their competitors

When I read about all the problems people have had, I don't understand why management, which is also the management of the hypermarket, isn't doing anything.
I had issues with three or four departments in the DIY section.
The car rental was handled by an unfriendly person who thought they were superior.
The parcel pickup point was staffed by a young woman who didn't understand anything. And then there was the car rental guy who came along and interfered. (Try putting him in charge of the pickup point too; he thinks he's the boss!)
In the DIY section, when you ask for information, the young woman's response is, "I don't know, and I have to go to the restroom. Ask someone else." And she said it in a very unpleasant way.
At the checkout, you have the choice between someone who's constantly yelling and someone who doesn't understand anything at all.
We stopped going there for all our DIY supplies, parcels, etc.
The only decent department is the plant nursery and flowers.
One of the employees (a man) is friendly, patient, always in a good mood, and, most importantly, gives good advice.

This store has many items without prices, some even dead! Sale items are mixed in with regular-priced items. Today, I even bought a geranium that was displayed among many others with a sign indicating a sale price of €4.90. When I got to the checkout, I realized I was paying €10.90. I went to the main checkout, where they told me the item I had bought wasn't on sale. I reminded them of the law: an item without a price, displayed in front of a sign indicating a price, must be sold at that price, but they wouldn't listen.
In short, check your receipts carefully. I think you deserve a visit from the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control).
