Great experience using Liberty Cycle. I hired a gravel bike which helped me explore all of Périgord over 4 days. The store is at the start of the Voie Vert which is a really safe route for all abilities. Staff were really helpful with set up and the bike plus all equipment (helmet, lock, etc) were top quality. Would recommend for anyone looking to explore or just to get a bike for getting round Sarlat.Great experience using Liberty Cycle. Highly recommend this bike rental facility. There was a wide variety of bikes to choose form and the two road bikes we selected were in good working condition. They also provided routes to choose from which made it very easy to navigate the day. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke very good English and tolerated our meager attempts to communicate in French! Liberty Cycle gave us a wonderful day in the Dordogne Valley.Highly recommend this bike rental facility. Fun ride. Quick service. Decent bikes. Reasonable prices. 4 hr ride and do in the Dordogne. We don't cycle often but it was a lot of fun and not too tiirng. Quite flat track.

Great location at the end of a stunning cycle path... very friendly staff and really helped when the chain broke on one of the four bikes we hired. Brought a new bike to our location and quickly set it up. I give two stars as they are well organisated and the staff are helpful and friendly. The bikes we rented were terrible. After a great experience at a similar price point which included everything from Beach Bikes, we were very disappointed for several reasons. Having to pay extra for locks and helmets, is backwards. Putting that aside, the bikes we had were awful. One was so bad it should have been scrapped and probably would have cost less to buy than we payed for the rental. They claim they have been going since 2013 and I suspect they have been renting this same bike since then. I lost count of the number of times I had to fix an issue with one of the bikes from gears that did not work properly, awful brakes, seat posts that slid down during use, chains that kept coming off, to name a few. Even without the issues, the bikes were horrible to ride, extremely heavy and the gears were constantly changing or skipping cogs for no reason. If the rental had been cheap, that would have been fine, but it was far from it. I understand they have some decent bikes, but avoid the comfort bikes, especially the smaller ones!! How do I book equipment online?+-

Booking equipment online on our site is a piece of cake! Here's how to do it: 1. From the home page of our website, you have two options to start booking: click on the "Book" button or select the equipment you're interested in directly. 2. Next, you'll need to select the period during which you'd like to rent the equipment. 3. A list of available equipment for the selected period will appear. Browse the list and choose the equipment that best suits your needs. 4. Add the equipment you want to book to your basket. You can add as much equipment as you want. 5. Once you have everything you need, go to your basket and confirm the equipment and rental duration. 6. You'll then be asked to provide certain information, such as your contact details and any other details required for the rental. 7. Finally, you can confirm your booking. Once it has been confirmed, you'll be notified via a confirmation e-mail.

When can I pick up the equipment I've booked?+-

As soon as you've completed your online booking, your equipment is reserved and ready to be collected at the date and time you chose at the time of booking. We recommend early arrival to allow time to both check the equipment and ask any necessary questions. If you need to collect the equipment earlier or later than expected, please contact us directly to check availability, and we'll do our very best to accommodate your request. Please note that for reasons of availability and stock management, it is important to respect the dates and times for equipment collection and return you indicated at the time of booking.

What delivery options are available?+-

We do not currently offer delivery. All equipment booked through our online store must be collected directly from our store. You can select your preferred pick-up date and time when making your booking.
