Starting from Cognac, cycle along the La Flow Vélo route towards Saintes.
Upon reaching the Port du Lys in Salignac sur Charente (15 km), you can eat and hydrate at the guinguette, then swap your bike for a canoe to peacefully follow the meanders of the Charente. Up close to the river, you'll rediscover the Charente, which François 1er called "the most beautiful river in the kingdom," from new perspectives.
