Starting from Cognac, cycle the La Flow Vélo route towards Saintes.
Upon reaching the Port du Lys at Salignac sur Charente (15 km), you can eat and refresh yourself at the guinguette, then swap your bike for a canoe to leisurely navigate the meanders of the Charente. Up close to the river, you rediscover the Charente, which François 1st called 'the most beautiful river in the kingdom', from a new perspective.
