I rented the bike online the day before (I recommend making a reservation sooner to ensure you get the proper size) and rode 40 miles on it. Great equipment, friendly service. I asked for stiffer boots, I got them and they fit perfectly. I told them I was going to ski powder, and they rented me skis that were perfect for it.
More than anything else, the skis had been expertly tuned, they carved nicely on the "ice", and floated perfectly in "la poudre". "Ice" is quoted since what Europeans call ice/glace, US Easterners call hard-pack.
