Absurd. I can't understand what happened.
I called two months ago to explain our needs (one trailer, one bike for someone 1.80m tall, so about 28 inches, and one bike for someone 1.60m tall, so about 26 inches). They told me we'd need one size L bike and one size M bike. I suggested booking on the website to make things easier. They said no, that was fine.
On the day of delivery, they delivered two size L bikes. My feet barely touched the ground and were only just touching the pedals. They told me e-bikes don't come in size M, and when I mentioned inches, they asked what that meant. It's really a shame for a bike rental company not to know what that means.
They suggested I contact other rental companies to get a bike that fit me. To which I replied that it would be difficult at the last minute. I replied that, in any case, I had no choice, given the last-minute decision. That I was going to take the bike. But I would have preferred to have been notified beforehand so I could have made arrangements. That I would manage with the bike, which was too big.
In the end, the person left with the bikes, even though we offered to pay for them now, because she thought the wait was too long (20 minutes is indeed long, but to try and find a solution and experiment, it's not unreasonable).
And she criticized me for not having made the reservation on the website.
It's worth noting that when I went back to the website, I saw that there were indeed M bikes (the ones that supposedly weren't available).
You could have simply apologized, told us that you didn't have any more M bikes because you made a mistake, offered to give us time to think about the second bike, and still let us keep the one for transporting the children. And so we no longer have a means of transport adapted to our needs, a great start to the holidays.

How do I book equipment online?+-
Booking equipment online on our site is a piece of cake! Here's how to do it:
1. From the home page of our website, you have two options to start booking: click on the "Book" button or select the equipment you're interested in directly.
2. Next, you'll need to select the period during which you'd like to rent the equipment.
3. A list of available equipment for the selected period will appear. Browse the list and choose the equipment that best suits your needs.
4. Add the equipment you want to book to your basket. You can add as much equipment as you want.
5. Once you have everything you need, go to your basket and confirm the equipment and rental duration.
6. You'll then be asked to provide certain information, such as your contact details and any other details required for the rental.
7. Finally, you can confirm your booking. Once it has been confirmed, you'll be notified via a confirmation e-mail.
When can I pick up the equipment I've booked?+-
As soon as you've completed your online booking, your equipment is reserved and ready to be collected at the date and time you chose at the time of booking.
We recommend early arrival to allow time to both check the equipment and ask any necessary questions. If you need to collect the equipment earlier or later than expected, please contact us directly to check availability, and we'll do our very best to accommodate your request.
Please note that for reasons of availability and stock management, it is important to respect the dates and times for equipment collection and return you indicated at the time of booking.
What delivery options are available?+-
For your added convenience, we offer a delivery option for all our equipment. When you book your equipment online, you can choose the delivery date and time that suits you best. Delivery charges are based on the distance between our store and the delivery address you provide. See the price list below for details. We do not currently offer in-store pick-up.
