Charged me €4 for just one bolt (not even from a pack - it was used taken from another bike and wasn’t even the right size). I was in a tough spot, the owner was clearly trying his luck and it worked! Ridiculous amount to charge.

Very cool bike shop in a small in So. France town on the Rhône River. My experience was less than positive though. My wife and I were traveling along the Rhône and as an avid cyclist I was checking out all the shops along the way. While the shop was nice, interacting with the owner was our least satisfying shopping experience during our entire trip. Language barrier notwithstanding, the guy was a jerk. Tried to engage him, even showed a pic of my ride, not an inexpensive bike, which would be obvious to a bike person, and the dude was utterly dismissive. Too bad, I would’ve enjoyed a memento of the shop.
