For 7 days we will have dinner in several restaurants in the village of Sal Rei, Cape Verdean cuisine is the result of centuries of African, Creole and Portuguese influences, the basis of its gastronomy lies in fresh ingredients of local origin, the islands are rich in fruits and vegetables Papaya, bananas, sweet potatoes, beans, corn are often used to make traditional dishes. The lessons with Dylan were extremely helpful and very professional. We've had several trials with kite surfing before in different schools. He's definitely the best for beginners! Calm, supportive, helpful, good advice and understands the level of his students so that you're neither under- nor overchallenged.
Also the rest of the team was very helpful with the boat driving, setting up of the kite, etc.

- Overall, very low energy and not exactly enthusiastic/friendly/welcoming in person. Doesn't really feel comfortable to ask several questions because the manager seems rather busy/annoyed/uninterested in person.
- The beach location is not easy to come back to because of the dunes that don't allow you to go back further for the upwind return approach. The manager told me not to come back further down the beach (near Kitekriol), but instead to wait to be collected by boat. However, it took me about an hour to get their attention to go back when the wind dropped, which was quite exhausting, so I was pretty sore for several days.
- Two of the instructors were rather unfriendly, and one yelled at me inappropriately during a kitefoiling lesson, which was uncomfortable, so I ended it.

We were unfortunately not satisfied with the surf camp service at boa vista. The accommodation provided did not match the features that were advertised, and the alternative accommodation was also missing several expected amenities (for example WiFi and missing door lock). Although an attempt was made to find a apropiate accommodation, this was not possible within two days. The way our concerns were handled afterwards did not felt customer-friendly. Due to the atmosphere that developed, we decided to end the camp early. We did receive a small partial refund, but this did not compensate for the additional costs or the disappointing start of the vacation. If you are looking for a classic camp atmosphere, this is probably not the place to expect it.
Booking equipment online on our site is a piece of cake! Here's how to do it:
1. From the home page of our website, you have two options to start booking: click on the "Book" button or select the equipment you're interested in directly.
2. Next, you'll need to select the period during which you'd like to rent the equipment.
3. A list of available equipment for the selected period will appear. Browse the list and choose the equipment that best suits your needs.
4. Add the equipment you want to book to your basket. You can add as much equipment as you want.
5. Once you have everything you need, go to your basket and confirm the equipment and rental duration.
6. You'll then be asked to provide certain information, such as your contact details and any other details required for the rental.
7. Finally, you can confirm your booking. Once it has been confirmed, you'll be notified via a confirmation e-mail.
When can I pick up the equipment I've booked?
As soon as you've completed your online booking, your equipment is reserved and ready to be collected at the date and time you chose at the time of booking.
We recommend early arrival to allow time to both check the equipment and ask any necessary questions. If you need to collect the equipment earlier or later than expected, please contact us directly to check availability, and we'll do our very best to accommodate your request.
Please note that for reasons of availability and stock management, it is important to respect the dates and times for equipment collection and return you indicated at the time of booking.
What delivery options are available?
We do not currently offer delivery. All equipment booked through our online store must be collected directly from our store. You can select your preferred pick-up date and time when making your booking.
