We just came back from what we all agreed was a great stay. We are for context a family of 4 (boys aged 6 & 9). We knew this would be a woodland style location and felt that everything was as expected or better. Lodges were great, swimming was good as was the slide in there that the kids loved. It's clean, quiet and just a nice break from 'busy'. We had some good days of weather that helped so sitting on our decking whilst the kids fed the ducks was a nice touch.
It may not have the range if activities you might get at other resorts but it wasn't what we wanted and knew this before booking.
We would definitely come back if we wanted a quiet break! If you can, also look to visit Pairi Daiza which is well worth it if you like a zoo.

Great place. We had a house by the lake and loved it. Great view, well equipped and comfortable. The pool is wonderful and excellent for swimmers! We love that there are no cars on the domain. Price / quality was certainly Ok in march!
Only communication can be better: before arrival: what to bring, what to expect, how to get to the house and how the shuttle works, opening hours, the restaurant, the shop, activities, walking and cycling routes, excursions,..
Also when arriving, the information was very scarce. It would have been convenient, for both parties, to know the offering on site.
It was good to see many points from the reviews have been solved.
We missed a kitchen towel and soap to do the dishes. How else can people keep the kitchen & equipment clean? At the reception we were told people usually bring there own, would be good to communicate this.
The gates to enter the domain at the riverside are also closed, the bell is not answered and the gate doesn't open with the badge

Lovely resort of eco cabins by lakes. Good indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Great base to explore Belgium from. Self catering with a small shop on site. Quite new - some of the water-based activities weren't ready when we stayed, but still a great place and good value.

All things considered, my stay at The Cottage by YourNature blew my expectations out of the water. The place was impeccably clean, the shower was brand-new and odor-free, and the kitchen had everything you’d need. Traveling with a baby, I wasn’t expecting much but the staff surprised me by arranging a golf cart (even though the resort was full) so I could move around effortlessly. That was a smart and very welcome gesture.
The on-site traiteur? Absolutely outstanding. After the main restaurant flopped on the first night, I decided to dine at the traiteur for the rest of my stay. Big shout-out to Max he was a superstar, super friendly, and bent over backward to meet requests. That alone makes it a solid 5-star experience.
BUT… here’s where things took a nosedive:
• The receptionist: rude, off-putting, and seriously tried to count how many towels I used over four days—with a toddler. That’s not hospitality it’s petty and insulting.
• Hair dryer didn’t work. Honestly, no big deal it didn’t ruin the stay, but it’s worth mentioning.
• The coffee machine? Requested it immediately upon arrival, but didn’t get a replacement until two days later. That’s unacceptable.
• Dogs roaming the resort. Worse they’re doing their business on the kids’ playground, and some owners just leave it ( Lady with flowers on the hold car )
A big red flag for families.
Final verdict:
5/5 for the clean, cozy cottage and Max’s stellar service.
1/5 for the rude towel police, broken hair dryer, delayed coffee fix, and dog mess on the playground.
This place is a gem but also a minefield. Families, stay alert.

This place has the potential to be great but misses the mark.
The location is stunning. Quiet, beautiful. Good amount of space between the lodges, felt we had our own space.
However the lodges themselves need better maintenance. Ants in the bath tub, a smelly drain. Ill equipped kitchen. Huge windows over looking the lakes are lovely but they don’t seem to realise they need to be cleaned. Sofas uncomfortable and no cushions. Musty smell on arrival.
Reasonable amount of activities but overpriced ‘shop’ on site with nothing useful - seriously missing a trick here, when a well-priced and stocked store they would make so much money. Ditto a good pizza or burger place.
The luggage situation is insane. At least allow people to drop and collect bags at their lodge, it wouldn’t impact quiet enjoyment of the park and make it more accessible. I would completely avoid with young families or elderly relatives for this reason.
If our booking was longer than three days I would have left early. Definitely not the place for a longer trip and I wouldn’t stay again.
