The Assistance Repair option allows the user to benefit from support in the event of a breakdown.
Véloc’Ouest commits to making every effort to respond within 24 hours, within its Delivery Area defined on the online booking tool. This option is valid only once per subscription. Véloc'Ouest reserves the right to call on a third-party service provider for assistance.
Activating the assistance option provides the possibility to benefit from a repair or exchange of the damaged bike. Human transport is excluded from this assistance. Indeed, Véloc’Ouest is not authorized or registered as a passenger transport company.
If the user does not wish to subscribe to the assistance option:
• In the event of a breakdown or defect on the rented bike, excluding any liability of the user, Véloc’Ouest commits to intervening as quickly as possible.
• Véloc’Ouest reserves the right to charge €0.50 (50 cents) per kilometer traveled for any intervention not incurring its liability.
If the user does not subscribe to the Breakage & Theft Insurance, Véloc’Ouest reserves the right to charge the full cost of the parts to be repaired or replaced, as well as for the stolen bike, regardless of whether or not they have subscribed to the Assistance Repair.
If the user subscribes to the Breakage & Theft Insurance, Véloc’Ouest reserves the right to charge a deductible of 10% of the value of the damaged parts or the stolen bike, regardless of whether or not they have subscribed to the Assistance Repair.
