Renting cross-country skis at Isola 2000 is an opportunity to discover a different side of the resort, away from the crowds. At an altitude of 2,000 m, the scenery opens out onto the Mercantour peaks and the Italian border, with gentle itineraries on the edge of the forest and luminous plateaus when snow conditions permit. Glide at your own pace, in contemplative stroll mode or more athletic cardio session.

From December to March, the altitude generally offers great Nordic skiing windows. In the morning, the snow is often firmer and faster; in the afternoon, the Mediterranean sun softens the glide. On windy days on the ridges, opt for sheltered loops. January-February are ideal for lovers of cold snow, while March offers milder sessions and dazzling panoramas.
