San Donato Val di Comino is a medieval village in the Ciociaria region, in the Apennines of Lazio, at the gateway to the Abruzzo, Lazio, and Molise National Park. It is a preserved and little-known natural area where bears, wolves, and chamois roam freely among the beech forests and alpine pastures.

The roads of the Val di Comino and the trails of the national park offer exceptional cycling routes for mountain biking. The flat Melfa Valley is accessible to riders of all skill levels, while the mountain passes in the National Park require excellent physical fitness or a good e-bike.
