I had a great experience renting a bike from Jérémie! He was super helpful every step of the way, and happily answered my many questions over the weeks leading up to my trip to make sure I had everything I needed to climb Le Grand Ballon. The bike was in like-new condition, and shifting and braking were well adjusted. Jérémie also pre-adjusted my saddle based on fit info I provided. I paid extra (a very fair rate given the additional effort for Jérémie) to have the bike delivered and picked up at my hotel, despite it being quite far away. Delivery/pick up went smoothly and on time. We had a bit of miscommunication about pedals, with the bike arriving with Look X Track pedals. Although these claim to be SPD compatible, in my experience they were not. Luckily, Jérémie had a spare set of cleats with him, so a quick swap got me going with no issues. It may be worth confirming cleat/pedal compatibility before accepting the bike. Overall, this was a great experience and I highly recommend Alsace Gravel Bike. Thanks Jérémie!

We are enthusiastic gravel and race cyclists ourselves in the Netherlands and rented two gravel bikes from Jérémie during our stay in Colmar. The bikes are brand new (few months in) and in mint condition. Aluminium frame, carbon fork, GRX drivetrain. He takes time to find the right size and make adjustments where needed. Also a map of the area with popular routes and advice over a coffee were provided. By default the bikes have flat pedals for normal (sports)shoes. Clip in pedals will be available soon. Helmets, locks and tools can be provided and even delivery to your doorstep is an option. Great experience!

Our recent experience with the team at Alsace Gravel Bike was excellent in all respects. The bikes were sturdy, quiet, perfectly tuned, and well suited for both gravel and road riding. Jeremie delivered them adjusted for our desired saddle height and placement - and at our agreed-upon time. He and Isabel spent valuable time with us going over maps he had brought - and suggesting routes based on our desires and abilities. We recommend them unconditionally and hope to revisit the region to do more riding!

I highly recommend renting a bike from Alsace Gravel Bike if you want to explore the beautiful landscapes of Alsace on two wheels. The bikes are not only high-quality, but also carefully maintained and adjusted to your needs prior the trip. I really appreciated being able to book my reservation online before my visit to Hattstatt, and I’m grateful to Jérémie for the helpful tips he shared about my planned route.
