We had a lovely day riding our e-bikes around Avignon and the surrounding area. Such a beautiful city with so many things to see. The bikes were in perfect condition and easy to use with plenty of power. The owner was very helpful and kind. Would highly recommend.

Great bikes! Great city to explore! The man who helped us was very helpful and directed us to all the sights which were all very close and fairly easy to find: the streets of Avignon inside the walled part were a lot of fun to bike around in as was the small island where there is a nature preserve, campground, farmland and a view of the famous bridge.

We had a great time on our e-bikes from axibike. We went the afternoon before and had everything explained very thoroughly by our attendant. He suggested some routes and possible detours that we would never have found on our own. The bikes themselves were petty good although my partner’s didn’t cycle all the way through the gears until I applied some impact technology so would suggest taking a spin around the block before heading out. Helmets and panniers were provided along with an emergency repair kit so we were good to go. The ride up to chateauneuf du pape was really easy. Almost all traffic free and very well surfaced. It’s definitely worth heading up to the ruined chateaux when arriving as the view is glorious. We detoured on the way back through villeneuve-les-Avignon which was a sleepy vibe compared to the main town. A 9am start and returning around 5 was just about right for us. Would recommend and would have easily been 5 starts apart from the small technical hiccup.
