We rented 2 gravel adventure bikes with 1 set of travel backs from Bijan and Ester for our 2.5 day ride from Lecce > Otrondo > Santa Maria De Leuca > Gallipoli > Nardo > Lecce, a total of +200km. The bikes were great and were able to handle all the terrain we went through including road, small and chunky gravel, dirt, and more. They are full alu. Bijan equips the bike with spare tubes, tires, and tools. The travel bags were also enough to carry toiletry, PJs, a 2nd set of jerseys, few snacks, few tools, few chargers and plugs, passports, and small ish souvenirs. It was definitely a tight squeeze so if you want more space for say dinner attire, get a second set of backs. We didn’t mind touring scrappy. The shop is also run by Bijan and Ester who are extremely friendly and helpful folks. Bijan is extremely knowledgeable about bikes and trails, and Ester is extremely knowledgeable about Italy and all there is to do! I highly recommend booking your next bike adventure with Bicycle Store Lecce 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

Bijan was fantastic. I’m on an extended tour and yesterday I bent a chain link and broke my gear lever. He was able to fix the gear lever and had me back on the road within a few hours for a very reasonable price. I was very appreciative. This is an excellent bike shop with quality bikes and accessories run by a delightful couple, Bijan and Ester.

Bicycle Store Lecce is the best! We brought our bikes (Canyon Grail AL, Santa Cruz Stigmata) from the U.S. in carry bags, and when we tried to put them back together we realized one of my headset bearings had gotten stuck in transit. Bijan fixed it and helped put together my bike and checked over my husband’s, efficiently, knowledgeably, and kindly (and for a very reasonable price)! He was so helpful and truly saved our trip, and shared some sick gravel routes wjth us. He also stored our bike bags and items for a super reasonable price. This store and Bijan are great!

Maybe one of the best cycling store in whole Puglia. Super nice staff, very skilled about cycling and excellent service. I can recommend the store and the staff 100%. You can buy a bike here, you can rent a bike here, you can buy nice cycling clothes and equipment and if you need safe packaging for sending the bike with an airplane, they also help you. Thanks for all help.

We rented two gravel bikes for a day, the bikes were superb and the service was excellent from making the booking to returning the bikes. If you are considering renting road bikes then these good quality gravel bikes are a better option for the roads in this area and roll along very nicely.
