Fantastic place to hire bikes in the Dordogne. We enjoyed riding along the tracks along the river, through farmland and beautiful villages. We discovered the pretty little village of Daglan which is 10km from Bike Bus - a great spot for a coffee and cold drink before returning (tip - cash only at the cafe we found). We also rode up to Belvès where we are staying (long hills) and out to Urval (another beautiful, small village that we love) - more long hills. It was quite a challenge on the tandem but luckily our front rider is a powerhouse on the hills! Highly recommend hiring from Bike Bus - the tandem didn’t miss a beat. We look forward to hiring e-bikes next time so we can go even further.

Had a brilliant experience with Bike Bus in Castelnaud! The young assistant who helped us spoke excellent English and made the whole rental process quick and easy, taking time to talk through bike sizing and adjustments so everything felt comfortable before we set off. The highlight was the route suggestion: a lovely loop out to Daglan and Bouzic, taking in quiet country lanes with gorgeous Dordogne countryside views the whole way. It was well-paced, scenic, and just the right level of challenge without being overly strenuous. Perfect for anyone wanting to combine sightseeing with a bit of exercise. Would happily rent from them again (and we have already booked for 2 days time). Great bikes, friendly service, and a route recommendation that made the day. Highly recommend if you're staying near Castelnaud area and fancy exploring the Dordogne valley on two wheels. They also had tandems and a triplet (3 seater!).

Fantastic service from start to finish. We hired a bike for two weeks and couldn't have been happier. The team in the shop were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Joel, the owner, even delivered the bike to our accommodation in Daglan (around 10 km away) and collected it again at the end of the hire. A genuinely nice guy who went above and beyond. The bikes were all excellent quality and very well maintained. Highly recommended.

Don’t normally do reviews but worth it for this one. A perfect day out doing the TriSport 25. Bike then canoe then walk. Total 25km! Arrangements and comms were excellent. Bikes all good. Friendly service. And the area is great for exploring.

Joel & Kate were friendly & efficient Bikes arrived on time & in great shape. All equipment was well maintained We had no problems on the ride. Bike Bus was easy to order bikes online. All in All a very enjoyable experience
