A popular bike repair workshop. The name says it all. These guys are doing groundbreaking work, especially in this day and age. You can come and repair your bike yourself using the tools provided, or get help from someone more experienced. You can also hire one if you need to. I’ve seen that they offer a delivery service for eco-friendly bikes, as you can see from the photos in the review… It’s a place for sharing and cultural exchange, which encourages eco-friendly practices. Lecce is also easy to explore by bike, thanks to its many cycle paths and its almost flat terrain; it’s a predominantly flat city.
Personally, I wanted to hire a mountain bike or some other sort of bike to visit Lecce, and they gave me the red city bike you can see in the photo, asking if that was alright with me. As I was up for anything, I agreed. It might not be the best-equipped bike hire shop, and they don’t have any top-of-the-range bikes, but the prices are really very reasonable! (I don’t know; I didn’t even ask if they had anything else.) I was already happy with it, and I even cycled up to the Salento coast. The bike also comes with a combination lock, in case you want to pop into a bar for a coffee or step away for any other reason.
