I booked a bike for an afternoon to go to Île de Ré. The online booking system was easy, the bike was a good fit, and it got me to my destination. The man operating the shop was friendly and hooked me up with bike lock and a can of tire inflator in case of emergency. He even walked me through how to get to my destination. The process was seamless and the experience a good one! For such a long ride, I would have preferred more than a 7 speed bike (it was maybe a better fit for staying local and biking around the city), but it was sufficient for a spur of the moment trip so I can’t complain :)

FRIENDLIEST STAFF I rented an electronic bike and did a couple hours on Île de ré which I think is highly worthwhile. I do recommend an electric bike I think it made the experience a lot more enjoyable. ARTHUR ROCKS. Location is also perfectly between downtown La Rochelle and the island.

We rented a set of bikes for 5 days for the whole family. Bikes are well maintained, we had lots of options and Arthur gave us lots of location advice. I a a cyclist almost every day and I really liked the setup and the options we had. La Rochelle is the perfect place for riding a bike, there are so many bike routes and the other road users respect bikes users. Cyclo park will be the place I go next time I am there for sure.

La Rochelle is a great place to cycle, and this is the best option to hire. Super friendly and knowledgeable with very good English. The bikes are comfortable and well maintained as well as cheaper than other places.
