A real outsider on the crash-pad market, the Triple MaxX 2025 is THE French pad par excellence! Designed in Barbizon by Jo and Françoise Montchaussé, it's made from high-density foam manufactured in France, Cordura fabric woven in Germany, and assembled in the Paris region.

An historic crash-pad with a reputation for lightness, this new version is no exception, weighing in at just 6kg! Still in 3 parts, it remains one of the most practical crash-pads to carry around, and comes in handy for fitting to the feet of certain boulders with particularly uneven landing areas.

My partner and I rented pads for 3 weeks and had a blast! The process was smooth and the worker was able to give us advice about our first time climbing in Font. Also be aware that there is an additional €500 security deposit (or you can leave your ID) with the rental cost. We’ll be back again in a couple of years! Also, they have pretty dope T-shirts!

Had an amazing experience here. Rented 2 pads for three weeks in Fontainebleau. I would definitely rent from here again, they have lots of options for sizes. Keep in mind, the safety deposit needed is 500 euros or a piece of ID; so if you are traveling from out of the country, just make sure your credit cards will allow the deposit and not report it as fraud! Also, check their website or google maps for hours because the apple maps hours are wrong and they close in the middle of the day!

Very nice staff, and the crashpads were cheap to rent. At first the deposit of 600 € worried me, because i was worried they would claim that we had done some harm to the crashpads, and had to pay. They didn’t try to look for small scratches or anything like that, so since nothing had happened, cancelled they easily the transaction, and we didn’t have to lift a finger. Very good, easy and cheap rental service. 100 % recommend. :) (side note for first timers at fontaine bleu: theres a useful app to see climbing areas called boolders)
