A really good shop in terms of customer service and staff; the shop assistants are always respectful – a far cry from other shops of this sort where they look at you as if you’re about to steal something… Here, you can go in and browse the products, choose what you want at your leisure, and then go and pay at the till without any hassle. A special mention to the lady (with glasses) whom I’ve often seen at the till when I pop in (I’m not from the neighbourhood); she’s always polite, kind and smiling (an incredible rarity these days...). The shop also has a wide range of products. I’m deducting one star because of the (very) high prices, which are the same in all Franprix shops in Paris. It’s a real shame, otherwise I’d go to Franprix much more often… However (and given my bad experience today at a rival shop a little further down the street), I’d rather pay a higher price at your shop and be treated well, as I always have been by this lady (and others) in your shop, than be glared at or even spoken to rudely in a cheaper shop, because respect for the customer and a warm welcome are paramount to me! Thank you to you and to that lady. I look forward to visiting you again soon

There’s just one supermarket (as far as I know at the moment) in the Nation neighbourhood with a salad bar! The supermarket isn’t particularly big in terms of its usual selection, but the salad bar is absolutely top-notch. They have two bowl sizes; if you fill the large one to the brim, it’ll cost around €10. They also have a good selection of dressings!

Having been here about ten times, I can say this: when the cashiers are there, they’re rude, but when they’re not, you end up queuing for 15 minutes. Only two self-service checkouts are working. It’s a disgrace that there are no staff on duty. Security confirm it – there are only two security guards.

I’ve been a customer for 25 years, so I know the staff and they know me. I’ve been the victim of credit card fraud, so I have no other means of payment apart from a cheque today. Before going to the shop, I took the trouble to check online whether Franprix accepts payment by cheque, and the answer is YES. When it came to paying, they refused my cheque and told me I should have asked beforehand. As well as feeling humiliated and angry, I’m deeply disappointed in this shop, where the manager didn’t even bother to come over and left it to the till operator to deal with my distress. Needless to say, even though it’s just across the road, I’ll never set foot in that shop again!

I went along on Sunday 12 October to pick up a Too Good To Go basket at Franprix, and I made the trip for nothing. The shop was open, but there was only the security guard on site, who explained to me that he couldn’t hand out the baskets. Yet the shop advertises baskets as being available all day on the app, when in reality there’s no one there in the afternoon to hand them out. It’s frankly misleading and poorly organised, especially for those who make a special trip there. I was very disappointed with the experience – it’s a shame, because the Too Good To Go concept is brilliant when it’s managed properly.
