The fast and maneuverable riding mower with differential lock for moderate slopes

The AS 920 Sherpa 2WD is characterized by an extremely small turning radius of only 65 cm. It can mow up to 9,450 m² per hour, thanks in part to the powerful Briggs & Stratton engine, which, with its 2 cylinders and 724 cm3, develops up to 27 hp. The riding mower is also equipped with a closed, floating mowing deck that is 90 cm wide. Thanks to the floating and closed mowing deck, the mower avoids obstacles by deflecting upwards. It can even mow over bumps as the blades do not contact the ground, effectively protecting both the blades and the mown lawn. The shape of the mowing deck allows for flush mowing along borders. The crossed blades ensure good mulching. The freely mobile bearing blades of the cutting bar cut the grass, while the mulching blades located above shred and mulch the cut grass. The cut grass is deposited in the center and between the wheels, ensuring safety in wet conditions, especially on slopes. With this mowing system, the AS 920 Sherpa 2WD can cut grass up to 1.5 m and dense brush. The adjustment for the five cutting heights ranging from 50 to 105 mm is centralized and comfortable.

Comfortable use with an extra touch of safety

The AS 920 Sherpa 2WD features a progressive drive via hydrostatic transmission, allowing the riding mower to be operated comfortably and precisely at speeds from 0 to 10.5 km/h forward and 0 to 8.2 km/h backward. Control is managed by the driving lever, which enables driving both forward and backward. Furthermore, the functions of the drive brake and parking brake are integrated into the lever, making the machine easy, comfortable, and safe to operate. In challenging conditions, the differential lock, activated with the control pedal, ensures optimal traction and propulsion.

Comfort and stability

The peripheral tubular frame provides high stability and resistance to twisting. Thus, the AS 920 Sherpa 2WD works reliably even under rough conditions. There are also integrated anchoring points in the frame for securing transport. The seating position similar to a 'kart' ensures absolute comfort during work. Users measuring from 1.60 m to 1.90 m have sufficient room. The seating position is adjustable in length to allow for an optimal and comfortable position according to individual height. Additionally, the adjustable seat suspension pack ensures a better ride with the riding mower. The lateral branch guard combined with the seating position better protects the user and enhances safety. The operator sits 'in' the machine, providing a low center of gravity. The user is also protected by the foldable rollover protection.

Designed for prolonged use

Thanks to the separate air intake for the air outlet, the engine and hydrostatic transmission components receive ample cooling air. While the engine draws in cooling air from above and expels it to the side, the hydrostatic transmission draws its cooling air from the rear and expels it downwards. The separation of the two air circuits prevents either component from receiving hot air expelled by the other component. This system ensures a longer lifespan for the components and prevents overheating.
