Excellent bike rental experience! 🚲 We rented 2 electric bikes and were extremely satisfied. The bikes were in great condition, comfortable, and worked perfectly throughout the entire ride. The price was very reasonable and definitely worth it. The service was outstanding! We were treated very kindly, everything was clearly explained, and we received many helpful tips about routes and places to visit. You can really feel the professionalism and care for customers. We had an amazing E-bike tour around Varenna, Perledo, and Vezio with @lakemotion and our guide Paulo. The route was safe yet exciting, with winding foothills, pin turns, and incredible views of Lake Como. Highlights included visiting the medieval Castello di Vezio, exploring charming historic towns, and stopping at stunning viewpoints. Paulo was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure our whole family felt comfortable on the ride. The tour ended with delicious appetizers and an aperitif at a beautiful and exclusive resort—such a perfect finish! Highly recommend this experience to families and cycling enthusiasts visiting Lake Como. A fantastic way to see history, culture, and scenery all in one unforgettable adventure!

Wow. What a day. From booking to riding we had an amazing experience enjoying the region (including the hills!!). The bikes were really easy to ride with plenty of power when we needed it. We have plenty of great photos from the top of the mountain and would highly recommend this way to explore the region. Thankyou

We contacted Lake Motion on WhatsApp and they were very responsive and accommodating. They organised a tour for us on the following day and we thoroughly enjoyed the ride with Paolo, our lovely guide for 2 hours. E-bikes were really easy to go up on the hills. Fresh air and stunning views, highly recommended!

After decades of journeys, through many, many countries, we have a special list of 'hosts' - people in all walks of the travel business who truly 'get' what it takes to make an experience worthwhile. From taxi-drivers to trackers, boatmen to bush pilots... concierges to con-men, we've seen 'em all! That list of true 'hosts' is not a long one - it's a rare gift to understand great service and to execute that accordingly. Simply put - travel-time is priceless, because these days, at least, it doesn't come cheap, it requires special effort and moments lost cannot be replaced. Time and place moves on, either with fabulous or fraught memories... Enter Roberto ('Bobby Bello' as we called him) and Paulo - two young men who've started an eBike/Vespa rental and touring business in Varenna on Lake Como. Wow! Such genuine hospitality, true grasp of customer service and just old-fashioned 'nice-guy' goodness has become increasingly rate in today's tourism. LakeMotion are fantastic - rented us almost brand new eBikes with smiles and inside info to make each moment in the saddle, as valuable as it could possibly be. And when - as happens in cycling - my rear derailleur got too close for comfort to the spokes (and snapped!), Bobby was there within 10 mins of my distress call - with an upgrade bike and broad smile. So - if you're in the gorgeous surrounds of Varenna, get on your bike... and not just any bike, support these guys - they truly deserve it! Grazie mille Bobby and Paulo!
