A wonderful experience at Altitude 1944! We came here to go cycling and had a brilliant time. Stunning surroundings and a fantastic welcome. We’ll be delighted to come back this winter to go skiing. Thank you! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were made to feel very welcome. The lady gave us some advice and we were able to hire high-quality equipment suited to our needs at a very reasonable price. The shop is pleasant and stocks a wide range of equipment. Highly recommended!

Renting an AE mountain bike
Great kit, in good condition.
Friendly and accommodating staff – I booked the bike the night before, and everything was ready in the morning.
The place to go in Laye for bookings – well… they’re the only ones, but it’s worth the trip up to the resort to book, even if you’re in the valley.

I highly recommend Latitude 44 – they have a wide range of equipment for hire (via ferrata, stand-up paddleboarding, gravel bikes and downhill bikes, etc.). The quality is top-notch and the prices are affordable.
Coralie and Jonas are helpful, friendly and attentive.
