We spent an unforgettable morning fishing with the crew of L'échappée nautique. On August 14th at 8:00 AM, my partner, our children (ages 9 and 12), and I set sail with "Dan," a recently retired fishing boat captain, aboard a rigid inflatable boat. The morning mist blanketed the sea. After just a few minutes of sailing, my daughter had already reeled in her first mackerel. Dan shared his experience and expertise with passion and great humility. He guided us with kindness throughout the fishing trip. A few minutes later, the weather cleared. "Let's go see the dolphins," he said, and moments later, we were sailing alongside four dolphins swimming right beside us. "We are in their home," Dan told us. The sea doesn't belong to us; it's a gift from nature. After three enjoyable hours at sea, we returned to the depot and shared a drink with the other crews and sailors from the morning. It was a very pleasant moment of sharing and coming back down to earth. We had never fished before, and this adventure was simply exceptional. An experience we highly recommend!
