Design Details

• Stability Testing

Based on our field observations, we aimed to develop tests related to stability; indeed, during a match and powerful shots, the goal can tip over. That's why a tipping test is done on our entire range of goals to ensure the product's stability with a requirement of 25°.

• Design

To develop and enrich our range of football goals with increasingly innovative models, I work closely with an engineer and a product designer.
Regarding the Classic Goal range, based on customer feedback, we focused on conveying as much as possible the sensations of playing with a real football goal while ensuring a resistant, safe, and quality product.

• Designed for Longer Play

This goal withstands shocks better thanks to its reinforcements at the corners and the top corners, metal attachments, and sturdier round tube.
It is also rust-protected for 5 years thanks to anti-corrosion treatment and more durable paint.
Result: it sustains 3 times more shots than our previous models and lasts at least 5 years under normal use.

• Strength Testing

We have the opportunity to work internally with a mechanical laboratory (located at B'twin Village) that allows us to validate the design of the goals for their subsequent production.
For example, to evaluate the product's solidity, we conduct load tests in our laboratory that replicate a child's weight. During this test, the goal is put to the test, applying a load of 35kg, and we check that the product does not deform.
