This is the second time we’ve been here, and the second time we’ve faced the same situation.
We came to go snowshoeing and were forced to leave our car at the mountain centre, so we waited for the shuttle bus.
Just like last time, the shuttle was full and we were turned away because priority was given to cross-country skiers, who actually pay for the service.
The organisation is absolutely appalling; if it’s a question of cost, then why not charge walkers for the shuttle? At busy times such as the holidays, it’s essential to plan ahead, and it’s unacceptable to leave walkers with no options. You can’t ask people to leave their cars at the bottom if you don’t offer them a way to get up there!
