Was 20 miles from base and on a bike that I'd purchased 2nd hand and this was my first real ride.
After a loop of the island was encountering a saddle that kept slipping.
These guys were so amazing and dropped everything to help. I showed them that the post clamp had a crack and the hunt began to find a replacement.
Several packets were opened but the part was not correct.
Finally the right part was found but on removal of the seat and post both guys smelt (and I've no idea how) that the grease was not correct for the carbon frame.
The guy went off and brought back cleaner, a rag and proceeded to clean the post and stem...was a star!
He then applied carbon safe grease and fitted the clamp.
What an amazing service.
If you need help in Saint Pierre d'Oleron these guys are life savers - thank you again for your help!

Excellent. Went here for a repair to my wheel. Told by Vélo 17 that it would take at least 8 days. At least they suggested I went here as the patron fixed in in 10 minutes. Charming, polite and highly recommended. This is now my 'go to' bike shop on the island. Merci
