We rented conventional bikes on two occasions and everything went perfectly. Louis who handled the paper work and got us set up was charming and very helpful.
The bikes were top quality and very new. They worked perfectly.
We went to Bayonne on a nice bike path, saw the Basque History Museum, then rode along the river to the coast, then back to Biarritz. Very fun. Our next trip was to Saint Jean de Luz, which was a much more challenging ride, but well worth it.
