Pack splitboard

This package allows you to tour uphill before riding back down on a snowboard.

The package includes:

• a splitboard fitted with a Union Expedition or Voilé system, depending on the model;
• snowboard boots;
• poles;
• climbing skins;
• crampons on request.

What splitboard size should you choose?
Ideally, choose a length close to that of your usual snowboard. If you do not know it, use a board approximately 15 to 20 cm shorter than your height as a guide.

If you are unsure between two sizes:

• choose the shorter board if you are lighter or want greater manoeuvrability;
• choose the longer board if you are heavier, carry a loaded backpack or want more flotation.

What boot size should you choose?
Select your usual shoe size. If in doubt, measure your foot from the heel to the tip of the longest toe.

How does the equipment work?
For the ascent, the splitboard separates into two skis. The climbing skins attach underneath to provide grip, while the poles assist your progress. For the descent, remove the skins and reconnect both sections to form a snowboard.

Request crampons if you expect to climb on hard or icy snow.
