Backcountry Skis - Size 160 cm
The backcountry skis are designed for climbing with skins and then skiing down. They are equipped with Dynafit insert bindings.
The package includes:
- a pair of backcountry skis;
- climbing skins;
- a pair of poles;
- crampons available on request.
Shoes are not included.
What ski size to choose? Choose a length close to that of your usual skis. A slightly shorter length makes conversions and maneuverability easier, while a longer length provides more stability and floatation. If in doubt, provide your height, weight, and skill level so our team can advise you.
What shoes to use? Your shoes must have inserts compatible with the bindings. Also indicate the length of their sole in millimeters, written on the side of the shoe.
How does the equipment work? For climbing, attach the skins under the skis and set the bindings to walk mode. Before descending, remove the skins and switch the bindings back to ski mode.
Request the crampons if you expect to climb on hard or icy snow. Our team will check compatibility, adjustments, and operation upon pickup.
