You'll also find freestyle, freeride, racing, carving, and backcountry skis.
Bronze Star Level: Ski a complex course (bumps, turns, changes of pace)
– Perform wedelling (reduce skidding in turns)
– Take off on rounded bumps or groomed terrain
– Ski on all types of snow
Silver Star Level: Improved precision
– Reduced use of skids
– Improved footing and style
– Perform simple tricks
Gold Star Level: Perform a timed slalom run
– Perform a series of technical exercises
– Ski down slopes with steep vertical drops
– Practice all forms of alpine skiing
– Respect all rules of good skier conduct
– Easily progress on groomed terrain (skiercross, halfpipe)
