A superb experience on the island of Noirmoutier, by bike! A must-do!
The rental, booked directly online (with a 10% discount), was quick and easy. There's a choice of bikes: mountain bikes, hybrid bikes (or city bikes), electric bikes, tandems, trailers, and helmets. 🚴♀️🚵♀️☺️ Pick-up was quick, with helpful tips and recommendations, and off we went to explore this magnificent island by bike. 🏝️ The island's size allows you to cover three-quarters of it in a single day, riding at a leisurely pace with breaks. Cycling allows you to be completely immersed in the salt marshes, forests, and local wildlife. The paths are good and safe, even on the roads. 👌
⚠️ In the middle of the marshes, there's no shade or water source, so remember to bring water bottles and sun protection. 🚰☀️ It's ideal for both children and adults!
The bonus was being able to drop off the bikes independently, whenever we wanted, with the peace of mind of Vel'hop!
