We were completely satisfied with our bike hire. The bikes were very well maintained and of a high standard. An added bonus: we even set off with a pouch containing a puncture repair kit 👍🏻 The manager is very welcoming. We’d definitely recommend it!!

Excellent bikes, very well maintained. Everything is clearly described on the website and matches the description; a child’s helmet is provided with the bike, as well as a kit for minor repairs. Exceptional service: the manager offers great advice on choosing a bike, as well as on routes and places to see along the way. He really seems to love his job and is keen to help people have a great experience, tailored to their goals and the group. A brilliant place to visit, then – I highly recommend it and will be delighted to return. Thank you very much!

We hired non-electric bikes with panniers for a week for the Velodyssee cycle route to Hendaye. We were made to feel very welcome and given excellent advice by the team at Velocation. Our bikes were top-quality, the saddles were comfortable, and the panniers were big enough (no punctures, no problems whatsoever over the 380 km of our journey – and we certainly didn’t go easy on them). We rented bikes with child seats at short notice, which allowed us to enjoy a wonderful day out as a family. After two days’ hire, I almost walked off with the bikes under my arm – they were that perfect. Between the quality of the kit and the ultra-handy little trailer, we felt right at home… it was the perfect relaxed holiday. A special mention for the rental company: attentive, helpful, and above all so kind that they almost deserve an extra star all on their own. Ask a question, and they’ve got the answer. Have a doubt, and they’ll give you advice. The bikes ran like a dream – not a single hiccup, just pure enjoyment from start to finish. Even the trailer was a hit… Honestly, it’s the sort of place we’d love to keep to ourselves… but that would be far too selfish. In short, top-notch service, top-notch kit, top-notch experience. I’ll be back in a heartbeat, and next time I’ll book for longer. Fred
