Burley cargo bike trailer with a large flatbed capacity of 45 kg

Carrying everything by bike is the promise of the Burley Flatbed cargo trailer. Relatively light for a cargo trailer (7 kg), it is the ally of urban cyclists wanting to ditch the car, as well as cycle tourists embarking on long trips. With its sturdy aluminum frame and its open design, it accommodates various volumes and sizes of loads (long or bulky boxes, large bags or panniers,...). It has a maximum capacity of 45 kilos. Its dimensions are as follows: 83.8 x 78.5 x 40.9 cm (Length x Width x Height).

Its chassis is equipped with two 16-inch spoked wheels ensuring maximum stability of the load during the ride. For visibility of the convoy, these wheels have orange reflectors; the trailer also features two white reflectors at the front and two red reflectors at the back.

You can also opt for an elastic net with six hooks designed for the tubes of the Flatbed trailer. It is visible in the image 6.

To carry your items safely, you can also secure them using straps and bungees.

Folding bike trailer with quick attachment

This bike trailer comes with its arm and attachment. The latter is suitable for quick-release or bolt axles up to 12 mm in diameter. For more details, read the installation manual for the Burley Flatbed. Note that the attachment is quick and allows you to detach the trailer from the cycle in a matter of seconds.

Folding bike trailer, the Flatbed is easy to store after use. Thanks to the push-button mechanism, both wheels detach simply by pressing it. Simply place them in the platform (see photo 5). Once compact, the cargo trailer measures only 84 x 58.4 x 10.7 cm.
