Eddy can be quite direct and honest. That was a confronting. He told me to sell my shortboard (which I had just bought) and to buy a bigger board. He gave me a big board and I could feel what he meant. It was more fun and I surfed a really long green wave which was amazing. I also did my first top turn (at least it felt like a top turn:)) on a wave ever. I will not sell my board (haha) but I will buy an extra big board which will be more fun in smaller waves. So the confrontation was good and necessary. He also gave some good advice on how to improve my skills. And he brought us to a very beautiful surf spot with a nice reef break.
