At an altitude of around 1500 m, the weather changes quickly. The site is often windy: prefer the mornings, when the snow is colder and the slopes freshly groomed. After a snowfall, conditions are superb, but remember to check the bulletin and visibility; in fog, it's best to stay on the marked loops at the edge of the forest. The periods from January to early March are generally the most regular, with beautiful anticyclonic windows offering open horizons over the Diois.
