Renting a snowboard in Les Rousses is the ideal way to get the most out of the Jura mountains, without having to worry about your equipment. With its pine forests, gentle slopes and more challenging sections, the area has something for everyone. The villages of Les Rousses, Lamoura, Prémanon and Bois d'Amont form a varied playground with the Tuffes, Serra and Noirmont sectors, all in an authentic mountain atmosphere.

Snow is often at its best from January to early March. Cold mornings offer well-groomed runs for leisurely carving, while a recent fall transforms clearings into powder paradises. Clear days reveal superb panoramic views, sometimes as far as Mont Blanc from the nearby ridges. However, the Jura can be windy on the heights and foggy at the end of the day: layer up, bring warm gloves and yellow or orange mask screens to keep the contrast.
