This company is so great! I used them in 2023 and again in May 2026. It's changed owners, but both have been A+ in my book. They worked with me (from SoCal) over the internet -- easy. Both went out of their way to get the bike I wanted delivered to me, when I needed it, plus whatever equipment I wanted, and then picked up from my Airbnb. The cost is definitely reasonable and payment is easy. The lock is easy to use. The winds can be fierce, so I got an e-bike both times. And if you stay in Pontorson or Beauvoir (less expensive that right in Mont-Saint-Michel), there's a perfectly gorgeous dedicated bike/walking path all the way from Pontorson to the MSM bridge-walkway. Use these guys!

Excellent experience at Cancavelo! The manager is particularly pleasant, welcoming, and very helpful. The bikes were perfectly maintained, comfortable, and very well equipped. We were able to explore the entire coast with complete peace of mind thanks to the maps the manager kindly provided. His recommendations allowed us to fully enjoy the magnificent scenery of the region. High-quality service, impeccable equipment, and a genuine sense of hospitality. We highly recommend them and will gladly return on our next trip!

We went on a family bike ride to Saint Suliac from St Malo. When we arrived at Saint Suliac we knew we’d been a bit ambitious on a hot day. I called the bike shop and advised we’d be two hours later than expected. They were so accommodating and were at the hotel when we got back. We are all pleased we did it during our stay. We will be back and hope to cycle to Cancale and get a boat back next time. Thank you so much for accommodating us. The electric bike was a blessing for my daughter

Friendly, knowledgable, helpful, pleasant – in my opinion it's the ideal place to rent a bike to visit Mont St. Michel and generally cruise around. This is not a pokey little shop it's a proper outfit. When I was there mid-May they had a good range of bikes for hire on demand, but the owner told me they sometimes get booked up in the high season.
