Cycling Camp July 9th, 10th, and 11th at Decathlon Boissenard (77) We were delighted with this "Tous à Vélo IDF" (Everyone on Bikes IDF) camp! Our son, Raphaël, 4 and a half years old, learned to ride a bike without training wheels in just two hours with Nicolas and Innocent. The rest of the camp allowed him to refine his skills, gain confidence, and improve his bike handling. He eagerly attended each session and always had a smile on his face, proof that he thoroughly enjoyed participating. It was a real joy to see him so enthusiastic. Despite the 36°C heat, the activity took place in the shade, with regular breaks to allow the children to hydrate and recover. The organization was very reassuring, and the children's well-being was a priority. Parents are not allowed to attend the sessions, which may seem surprising at first, but it allows the children to become more independent. The team supervises the children with great care: they are very well looked after, supported, and encouraged throughout the activity. A huge thank you to the entire team for their patience, kindness, and professionalism. The exercises are perfectly adapted to the children's age, in an atmosphere that is fun, safe, and motivating. We wholeheartedly recommend this course to all parents who want to teach their child to ride a bike without training wheels or help them improve their skills.

I took a 3-hour tour starting at 2:30 PM on June 3, 2026. The price is reasonable. My guide, Lorenzo, was very friendly and his explanations in English were clear and easy to understand. He also took lots of photos for me! We visited over 10 spots, spending about 5 minutes at each, and he answered all of my questions thoroughly. I learned not only about the history but also a wealth of other interesting information. He always kept an eye on me riding behind him and pointed with his finger whenever we turned, so I felt very safe following his route. It was drizzling a little, but it wasn't a problem at all.I highly recommend this tour, especially for those visiting Paris for the second time or more. However, if you are concerned about your physical stamina, I think an electric bike would be a better option. Since the shop is located just off the main street, I recommend arriving a little early if you are not confident with directions. If everyone in the group arrives early, they might even start the tour ahead of schedule.

We rented 2 bikes for the day and biked around on our own for 4-5 hours, stopping at a number of must sees. We were in search of the store front but they are operating from the street and a front door. Best to reserve on line in advance so they know you are coming. The bikes worked fine, have 7 gears in an internal hub, a hand brake and a back pedal brake. Cycling in Paris was not as daunting as I expected but you definitely have to keep a close eye on what is happening around you, specifically at intersections. Many cyclists ignore red lights but I recommend you don’t copy that. A red light gives you some time to analyze the situation as sometimes bike infrastructure is not always logical, switches sides or turns into another type of infrastructure depending on available space.
